I would love to get some advice from the community on the best way to approach this issue we're having with 2 separate systems that we have kind of married together...
Our Goal:
We want to create a DashBoard panel to control three Sony FR7 cameras, each mounted on a PresenterTek TeleZSpin robotic pedestal. Currently, our operators have to select the camera and pedestal separately on a hardware controller (RM-IP500), which is slow and clunky. We want to streamline this so an operator can just select "Camera 1," and all controls are intelligently mapped to both the camera and its paired pedestal on the Dashboard panel. We'd also like to be able to save shots so they can be recalled by Overdrive.
Our Setup:
Kind of a very specific use case here. Has anyone here built a similar unified interface for a camera and a separate robotic system (like a pedestal or dolly)?
