So, we have an offshoot from 'less' in 'Time Delta' that goes to an 'input selector' that turns the running numbers invisible and turns place holder 'zeros' on.
You might have to change the order of your clock and encoded date going into 'time delta'

When my XP scene countdown clock reaches the target time, it stays on zero for a second and then counts back up. I am using the visual logic countdown blocks.
