Production Switchers

I'm sure this is probably simple but can't seem to find the instructions anywhere. We have a Ross Carbonite Black Solo 13 and have several custom controls, keys and other settings programmed. Occasionally we have issue with it locking up and I'm always hesitant to reboot it since that means I'll need to reprogram everything. While i do have all my settings written down, it can get sort of tedious re-inputting everything manually. I'm sure there's a way to back up/offload the settings so I don't have to go through that. Can I back it all up to a flash drive? Do I have to format the flash drive in any special manner? Which USB port do i use to store or reset the information to the switcher-the one on the control surface or the one in the rack-mounted equipment? Can someone please provide detailed step-by-step instructions to a) backup settings to a flash drive and b) restore settings from flash drive to the switcher?

Can I back it all up to a flash drive?
