It looks like that is the local port for the connection and does not matter to the DataLinq Server. The Destination IP:Port should be the IP of the DataLinq Server and the port configured in the Data Source.

The converter should be set to TCP Client. I would need to see the adapter configuration page before i can comment on the socket port..

If i remember correctly, the Serial Cable should be plugged into the Control port on the All Sport. Can you give that a shot please?
Feel free to send me an email and we can jump on a Teams meeting and have a look together.

I have been trying to connect via TCP and UDP and have not been getting a result. On the allsport CG the serial cable is plugged into the data port. That goes to teh Serial to IP converter and when I am on the converters interface I try to set it up to TCP or UDP but do not see the data come through when I try to set up a datalinq server with that same port

Hi Zach,
Both UDP and TCP are supported data types for the Daktronics Source in the DataLinq Server. During configuration, you can specify whether you are working with Serial, UDP or TCP.

I am attempting to set up a datalinq connection with a daktronics allsport CG over our network. The allsport CG will receive radio info from the allsport 5000 and then transmit the data over the network using a star tech serial to IP converter. can I just take the UDP or TCP feed straight into the datalinq server or do I need to receive it with another converter and then connect to my xpression server via serial?
