Hi
We have a 3G144 matrix, which has an NK-IPS connected with a few panels and 3 RCP-ME panels connected via Ethernet.
We had a problem when we decommissioned our Cambots in that macros fired from one of the RCP-ME would not complete, the panel would beep and the macro would fail.
The RCP-NK1 panels seemed free of this problem, being connected via T-Bus, so we ran macros from that, and turned off the cambots.
The 3 RCP-MEs have become unusable, constantly flashing up that they are trying to connect to the NK-IPS, and over the last couple of days Dashboard has become erratic, not connecting, not routing, etc.
I have reconnected the Cambots (i.e. each of the three heads is on the network, but not connected to Smartshell) and the panels and Dashboard seem to be behaving now.
I would consider putting all the router panels on a T-Bus connection, but now Dashboard is no longer functioning reliably, I am not sure what I can do. I did post about this on the Cambots forum to no avail, and we had contacted Ross Technical Support, who offered to remote in but then stopped communicating with us.
If anyone has ever come across anything that interrupts Ethernet communication between RCP-ME panels, Dashboard and an NK-IPS, I would be grateful to hear from you!
