  • 1.  Dashboard - display status of GPO that has been configured for TALLY behavior

    Posted 20 days ago

    Multipart question here....

When triggering a Custom Control I know I can stack commands.  On a particular custom control I have a GPO that is momentary triggering an external device, but I need a GPO that is triggered into an on state until cleared by another Custom Control.  That custom control will clear the GPO state.

What I'm after is to display the GPO state on a Custom dashboard.

Possible?  I'm not finding anything specific in the discussions.

Set the GPO up as a Tally Mode Operation

Then use an "Aux Bus" that you are not actually using as a "source" on another Aux Bus that you are not using.

So lets say Aux 28 will be the fake output.  You set that up as "always on air" in the on air menu.

Then in the inputs you go to internal and attach the GPO that is set to tally mode to Aux 27.
Now when you put Aux 27 as the source for Aux 28 it will tally the GPO and when you set Aux 28 to anything else (BK/CB/Media/Inputs) that will turn the GPO off for you.

Now you just track the source on Aux 28 as the means to get your status.
