I am trying to create a cross pointe route panel I can load onto an ultritouch.
Yes I know that an Ultrix FR5 has panels built for this but I'm trying to create a panel for a specific station and don't need 40+ panels as options.
Custom panels allow us to build tabs which is enticing.
So Carbonite Ultrix in a FR5.
In my dashboard panel I create a row of buttons and the Ultrix 5ru device to get access to the API so I can use the take cross point command. It works flawlessly on our dashboard computer does what you would expect. When I save the panel and load it to an untritouch nothing.
On the ultra touch the built in FR5 routing panels work, custom controls work with custom panels, salvos recall but this API command won't grab. Am I missing a device config, is the FR5 API a different device that needs to be added to the ultritouch than the existing FR5?
Or is there a better way to create a custom routing page on an ultritouch.
For context:
Our EIC station monitors like 6 destinations, each with 4-6 likely sources but the sources vary from destination to destination. Instead of making a generic panel with 6 destinations and 14 some sources id like to just make a table that has a row section for each destination that just takes when pressed (like a matrix but not a true matrix)
