Dashboard panel induce aliases

    HI, 

    I would like to create a text box in which I can type a label en then have a apply button to induce that label into an alias. 

    I know how to induce a label into a remote ID but I can't find the code to induce it into an alias.

    The basic usage is to have UMD on Ultriscape configured to PIP source name and be able to change that label easily for all MV displaying the source.
