  • 1.  Dashboard/Carbonite Fader bar T-bar control

    Hello community,

    We are looking for a solution to control the Carbonite Ultra mixer fader bar (T-bar) using third-party hardware connected to Bitfocus Companion. The RossTalk protocol used for crosspoints is not capable of handling this.

    Is there another option besides OGP, which, as far as I know, is the native protocol used between the frame and the panel?

    A second option could be using OGScript inside Ross Dashboard to control the Carbonite fader bar and then trying to control Dashboard via Companion, although I'm not sure whether this is possible.

    Could you help us solve this or suggest alternative approaches?
    The third-party panel also needs to control other devices at the same time, which is why it must be used for this project.

    the only control for this would be through OGP protocol.  There is no way to send any kind of other messaging to control the fader bar.
