  • 1.  Data in Excel not showing in datalinq

    Hi, I am working on an elections graphics package and have an Excel file (with legacy shared) connected via Datalinq to the scene but some of the numbers and characters are missing in the Dataling Browse window!!! But in the Excel file, they are populated!! Any ideas?  The Excel file is saved as an xls file in an ADODB datalinq source! Other Excel files are working fine!  What is going on?

    Hi Ariel! It looks like for those columns there's a discreprancy between mixing formats (Text vs Numbers)

    I believe in your connection string, you could input ;IMEX=1 at the end of the 2nd line, OR, in your Excel sheet, change the columns to all be using Text instead of numbers.

    Hi Zachary! Thanks for the tip I was using the Excel profile and when I changed it to Excel Mixed number and text data all the numbers appeared just fine
