Subject: Data moves object in multiple scene directors
As always. Thank you Roman. - My next step was going to be trying to do a hidden item that is moving around. - But this worked out great. We have transitioned it over to our project, and we are good to go.
We are doing basketball. It is a 3 point content. It is head to head. So the object starts in the middle. When the person on the left scores, they will hit a button that is sending a rosstalk trigger to a dashboard to change a parameter. That parameter is then going to xpression. If the person on the right scores the object goes back towards themselves.
So your solution has worked out great. - If you want to see it in action. About 8pm eastern time on Friday night, it will be on our YouTube page.

Hi Garrett.
I changed your animation scheme, I think it works better (auxiliary object with one animation and VisualLogic). And in your project you do not need to publish text objects. You need to change widjet data in the Widgets panel

Subject: Data moves object in multiple scene directors
I have a project that I feel like I am super close on the answer. I have made the problem into a simple project attached below to hopefully lead to some answers.
I have a quad in a scene. That quad will come on the scene in the middle, x space 0. Then I have a widget that is a value of 1 to 5 to represent the 5 potential locations. Position 1 to to the left at X= -400. Position 5 is to the right at X = 400. 2 (-200), 3 (0), 4 (200). You get the gist.
with the object online, the data will return the 1 to 5. I need the object to move in X space equal to the value. - This would be simple if I just wanted the object to jump to that location. But I want the object to "animate" to that local and do a slide over. Hence I have scene directors built for every action. 1 to 2, 2 to 3, 3 to 4, 4 to 5, 5 to 4, 4 to 3, 3 to 2, 2 to 1.
I can see my little blue box move in preview, but I do not see it updating on air.
If you look at the project you will see 2 text boxes. One of them is attached to the data. It has the script for on set text. The other text box is getting updated inside of the scene directors. Then the data text is comparing to the other text box to see the value to then know when text is 3 if I want the SD to play 2 to 3 or 4 to 3.
Incase attaching project does not work, here is a box link.
