Thank you for all of the effort. I just take a text and I drag it to the position but it just doesn't change.
It seems like I'm doing the same thing. I tried publishing and unpublishing the objects.

Are you setting it some other way that might be fighting it because I use this method all the time.

It did not do anything different. It's like Visual Logic doesn't realize the text is a number and just ignores it for Position
I have a new screen shot.

Thanks for the Replies. I thought that too and tried it. I've even typed a number into a text box and then linked that text to position, trying to remove the datalinq portion. Didn't work. It's like Visual logic doesn't recognize that it's number and ignores it.

Personally, I would connect your data to text boxes and then connect the text box to the positions you want.
That way you have a visual way to see the data coming in a changing and it makes it much easier to troubleshoot.

We have Expression Tessera. I'm trying to get a value from a Datalinq to the Horizontal Position of an object in Visual Logic. I added the datalinq node, set the Value (and when I do it shows the right value), then dragged an arrow to the y position block for the object. But for some reason it won't modify it. The data for the Datalinq is coming from a dashboard. The parameters in the Dashboard are set to integer. I've tried setting the parameter for String, Integer (4), Integer (32), Floating. the results were the same.
I'm looking for what to try next.
