my sport producer wants the scoreboard to automate when he chooses the home team. I will be creating separate scoreboard for each league. I'm using newsticker url (rss) to get the information. I set the home team as a static text so producer can select the team. I set the datalinq to home score as:
Data\Sport<forced_home_team=@City_H@;league_name1=MLB>\home_score
set the visit team and score as:
Data\Sport<forced_home_team=@City_H@;league_name1=MLB>\forced_visit_team
Data\Sport<forced_home_team=@City_H@;league_name1=MLB>\visit_score
and set period as:
Data\Sport<forced_home_team=@City_H@;league_name1=MLB>\forced_period
Then I set a material path to home team logo to grab the team pic. I did the same thing for the visit team.
material path:
\images\Team Logos\MLB\@City_H@.png
When I played out the scene and chose the home team, the correct information appeared. the only issue i got was the away team picture didn't change.
I also set a path to away team as:
\images\Team Logos\MLB\@City_A@.png
did not work. Do I have to do something in visual logic?

your question is a little vague. Can you give us more details about the graphic and this news ticker? is it a rss feed? In Xpression, can you find the data in the datalinq tab and is it updating there? Maybe give us a screen shot of the datalinq tab on the element that is not working could be helpful too. Have you checked both the Enabled and Live Updates checkboxes in the datalinq tab?
