Ultrix 6.4.  

I have salvos that assign a layout to an UltriScape head in addition to assigning the sources to the PiPs.

Some of the PiPs need to be Destination Follows.

Is there a way to include Destination Follows in my MV / PiP salvos?

The fastest way I have found is to fire the Salvo then reassign the layout via UltriScape Head Selection with the Destination Follows applied.

I thought about building unique layouts with higher unused PiP numbers permanently defined as Destination Follows under Configurations.

Is there a better way?

Paul, you are correct. There currently isn't a way to have a salvo map a destination follow. Your approach of defining some high-numbered PIPs that are permanently mapped as dest-follows is a good work-around.

The ability to dynamically change dest-follows through panels and salvos has been forwarded to the dev team as a feature request.
