Thanks Les, that makes sense. I appreciate the explanation! I'm still learning traditional operating procedures and thinking about use cases to utilize the flexibility of the system.

1 the Keypad section better explains Local Row vs Global or multiple inclusions..
https://help.rossvideo.com/switcher-panels/Tasks/Operation/Memories/Recalling_TD.html
Then for Panels without the Keypads the Row is always a Local Row .. we will add some text to the manual for those to better explain it.. Since for many of us we have always had switchers where a Keypad in an ME row is a "Local" only and then you need a separate Global memory Keypad to recall beyond just the ME assigned to that Row.
In DashBoard you have SELECTED to recall Multiple parts of the switcher (the Inclusions Section).. So you have already decided you want that menu control to recall some things (ME PP and ME1) and not OTHERs (NONE of the MiniMEs are in there).. However if you changed your Panel Row to be on MiniME 1 to setup a 2 box let's say now your panel memories would never work if you were to inherit what the DashBoard Memory Menu is currently set for.. DashBoard is acting as your Global Memory Section while the panel is acting as your Local Memory section.
If I went to MiniME 2 and I want to just recall my Chromakey setup I would not want that Recall to then have PGM ME recall a memory since my effect is not ready to go to air yet.. There are many reasons why you would not want to always be recalling "the entire" switcher all the time.. And many reasons why you would want to have your Inclusions be independent for the dashBoard menu and the Panel memories..
We do have a feature under way that will look to add the ability to have some of the functions of the Keypad versions added to the panel.. Like selecting inclusions and being able to Store from the panel as well.

Thanks Les. Glad to hear it is expected behavior and not a bug.
I'm not finding anything about the difference between Dashboard and Touchdrive recalls in documentation (local mode)... Can you point me to that?
Can you help me understand the benefit of this behavior? Why would I want the panel to do something differently than what I'm seeing on Dashboard?

I was able to download the video so I could watch it in Higher quality and larger screen size...
It looks like the 2Box is on ME 1 not your PGM / PST ME .. in DashBoard you are recalling the Memories on ME 1 and ME P/P ... On the panel you are recalling the memories but in the "Local" mode that row operates in like a local memory module. This means that your only recalling the Memory to the PGM/PST ME which is just changing the BKGD bus to ME1 and the PST Bus in one memory is a source and the other is also ME 1...
You need to point the panel Row to ME 1 then do the recalls for ME 1...
Or you need to build a custom control that recalls the memory on ME 1 and ME PP (just record and do the recall from dashboard). Then you will be able to use the CC on that Row to recall the memories for both MEs at the same time.

Can you attach your Show file here please?
using dashboard you can export the set after you save it to the USB .. or just FTP the folder off the frame.
Also which ME are the boxes ON and which ME is the panel pointed at for the local memories?

Hello all,
Hoping Les can jump in here...
I'm experiencing odd behavior from our Ultra. I just updated to 7.1 and the TD2 is up to 2.0.35.
Recalling memories from Dashboard acts correctly. When recalling memories from the TD2 push buttons, some parameters of the memory are not recalled. See video HERE.
