  • 1.  Disabling Audio Recording on Mira Inputs

    Posted 20 days ago

I want to use a Mira for recording our broadcast open and playback, while also using it for replay purposes in-game.  Is there a way to disable audio capture on certain camera/source inputs?  We are running into an issue where we are pushing audio out to the broadcast when not intended if the replay operator is reviewing clips.  The way we are setup we do not have the ability to track audio up or down from a mixer.

    Current Setup 8in2out

1-6 are cameras (embedded audio recorded)

7-8 are pgm dirty and clean (embedded audio recorded)

    Desired Setup 8in2out

1-6 are cameras (embedded audio not recorded)

7-8 are pgm dirty and clean (embedded audio recorded)

Is this possible?  That way we would load the clip into 7 or 8 and roll it from there.

    Hi Chris,

The audio track assignment can be changed in the Mira Config software under the Audio Router tab.

Unfortunately, there is currently no mute/none option. For now, the best workaround is to assign a track that does not contain embedded audio.

I will forward this request to the Video Servers team so we can consider adding a mute option in the future.

    Thanks,

    Isabelle
