Hi,

Is a video shader compatible with Dynamic Material ?

I'd like to use a Text object as a path @MyTextObject@ to load a video to a material applied to a Quad.

Sounds do-able.

Use VB and onSetText event.

Of course, do a small scene test first.

I would also think that you should be able to apply the path to the quad just like an image.

Yep! Dynamic Materials can pull any Material that's been created in your project by referring to the material name.

It should also be able to pull in XPression .avi files if you have the Material Path of Dynamic Materials resolve to either an Absolute (D:\Media\Files\SampleFile.avi) or Relative (\Videos\SampleFile.avi) reference
