Hello,

we have recently purchased a Ross carbonite and I have a few questions with regards to Audio.

If an SDI input channel has embedded audio how many channels can you then select in Rave? Is it just pair 1&2?

If you can select multiple embedded channels can you then assign them to be emended on different Aux outputs for recording ISO feeds?

Hi,

All Audio goes through the audio Mixer.

The 48 Stereo or Mono Faders have Access to any of the channels on the SDI streams.  So you can do Stereo pair selection (1-2, 3-4, 5-6, ... 15/16) or you can do individual channels 1/2/3/4/../15/16.

On Outputs embedding you have to select the channels for embedding from the Audio Mixer Outputs.  (Main, Monitor, Aux 1- Aux12) you can not do "audio direct".

That would require something like an Ultrix with Full TDM audio Matrix.
