You can pull an image from the framebuffer, that scene still needs to be loaded somewhere, you could skip the sequence though potentially if you put the scene directly on air. I can't remember the command to render an image from the buffer at this moment but its there somewhere.

I have made made a script in VB that exports video from Xpression. The way my script works is that I am loading the scene into the sequencer and from there i'm exporting it. I'm now wondering if it is possible to export it from Xpression without having to load the scene into the sequencer, just like it is possible to export a PNG and a Jpeg without having to load it into the sequencer.
The reason for asking is that I'm having trouble exporting the scene copy that I'm creating, and my guess is, that I'm having an issue with the reference to the scene copy.
