Production Switchers

Had the same issue. So for anyone else trying to figure this one out there's an XML file called "RossVideoSwitcherConfig.xml" on the Mosart Server which translates the numbers you use in AV config to the correct OGS string command.
I.e. you can use whatever number you want in AV config as long as it corresponds to the integer in "value" in the XML. The "name" field should then hold the OGS string of your source "MME:1:PGM" for instance.

Mosart has access to implement the OGP interface which would also give them State update but they chose not to.

Well over a decade ago it was recommended they use the OGP interface as it would allow them direct access and update.  They chose RossTalk because it was simple and quick to implement.  From an Automation standpoint it is not ideal since they have no way to pull out the State of the switcher which is what they would do with OGP.

We are more than happy to work with them and see this level of integration supported.

Maybe that explains something, why mosart wo'nt cut to some of the sources.
But it would not let me call a mini mem and I can not set the keyers in af mini me.
But don't know why?

Internal sources are not addressed by numbers. I have attached a pdf (RossTalk Commands). Commands for possible video sources (both external and internal) are on page 7&8.

There are 36 external inputs on the Carbonite Black. The number of internal sources depends on the number of MEs licensed, as this counts towards the total number of internal sources. The number of internal sources number over 100 - this includes ME backgrounds, Keys, MiniMEs, Canvas, Aux, Media Store etc.

May I know the reason why you are looking for the number of internal sources?
