no NK-GPI would not work..
However the IGGY would be possible..

It has a TSL interface support and then has Tally / GPIO connections ..
Another option is to build your own hardware with an Arduino or PI that will take in the TSL protocol and parse it..
There is software out these like Tally Arbiter which can connect to a Arduino devices for this as well.

We would like to use Camera Tally lights for our sports broadcast using the Graphite systems. I see that the Audio Breakout Module is required in order to have the Tally/GPIO porta. I don't have any other need for the Audio Breakout Module - is it possible to use the NK-GPI or some kind of USB GPIO Expander in place of this? Would Dashboard / Carbonite be able to see a NK-GPI or USB GPIO Expander?
