Hi!

Looking for guidance to add a frosted-effect to our Lower-Third shapes. Any template/guidance on how this can be achieved in XPression is greatly appreciated!

Try to add 2 shaders to your material.
1. Refraction with which you can make a material transparent with refraction effects like glass or diamond.
2. A bump map shader. Take a black and white picture or a normal map file with your surface of choice as the normal map file. You will find dozens of examples in the web.
At least play arround with the parameters until ypu get your expected result.
