  • 1.  Quad - Different Pic Sizes

    Looking for help. 

    Using a quad that various sized photos will be used on that quad.  Some are big and some are small.  

    If I publish with scale and position, then the operator can manipulate each photo to a desired look.

    Problem(s)
    1. Tried using maintain aspect ratio of texture and it seems to be quirky.
    2. Also, when we use another day the next picture follows the previous pics scale & position.

    Probably gonna leave maintain texture aspect ratio off...
    Is there a way that I can have the quad re-set each time it is used?  Visual logic?

    I don't know if you want to have a dedicated quad space or you want to have a free modifyed quad.

    Here it is a sugestion:
    Create a second quad and with a scene script copy the image as material from the first quad (used just as publisher and in hide mode and with Auto Size: On Material Resize) to the second quad (only the second quad is visible).
    Now you have the original image resolution and you can auto manipulate you second quad to fit in you dimension and position.

    I have a shot example who is auto resize the picture and keep the aspect ratio, maintain the image in a maximum 500px horizontal or vertical if the picture have a wide/tall format and reduced size in order to maintain an similar displayed area for squared image or closer aspect. The image is right aligned with a centered text on top.
