  • 1.  How to use roster for multiple dropdowns without copying.

    Hello,

I'd like to make separate dropdowns for touchdowns, and penalties, etc...  where the user can select from the entire roster.

I know I could copy from the rosters and make constraints for all the different dropdowns, but that seems like a lot of copying.

I've been successful using Global constraints, with constant values but I can't figure out how to script those global constraints.

Basically, I want the player penalty dropdown and the touchdown dropdown to reference the players names from the roster with minimal copying

I don't know about Global constraints, but how I do it is that I have my roster in a StructTable and then I have a populate dropdowns function that takes the roster and populates it into however many dropdowns it needs to go into.
