  • 1.  How to use XML Datalink to pull an image using an address generated from XML file

    We update all of our competitor stats at live sporting events via an xml file that gets updates by our data person in the field.

    We would like to incorporate a headshot into the lower 3rd template through datalink
    We have created a folder in the network drive that contains all of the headshots we want to use in the lower 3rds. 
    The "contestant.1" will update with the contestants name, which corresponds to the image name in the folder and gets update with each export of the xml

    S:\headshots\contestant.1.jpg

    How do we do this with Datalink?  I don't know how to program it as an image - I only know how to use datalink xml with fonts

    If you provide a valid path to an image (just like you have already), it should work great!
