    Is there a current guide to setting up control of a BM Hyperdeck from a Vision switcher somewhere online?

    Hi Paul,

    Sorry we don't have a guide to setup control of a BMD Hyperdeck from a Vision. But below are some handles, hope they help.

    1. Setup Ethernet Communications on the Vision for the Hyperdeck
    - Home > Setup > Installation > Com Setup
    - You will need the IP address of the Hyperdeck and port number 9993.
    - Remember to turn on the 'remote' option of your HyperDeck.

    2. You will need the list of Hyperdeck commands (pg66 of the Hyperdeck manual).

    3. Now go to Custom Controls > Start Recording > Special
    - Insert a 'RossTalk TypeInCmd' using a Hyperdeck command.
    - The TypeInCmd custom control allows you to enter a manual RossTalk command into a custom control.

    Hi Paul,

    I found a guide (attached) to setup RossTalk for XPression on the Vision. The communication setup section will be very similar for the Hyperdeck. You can ignore everything else.

    I've got it working on a Carbonite black to a HyperDeck Studio (older version).
    I'm not at work before monday, but then I can make you a guide.
