Has anyone ever had the clips drive (D) on the INCoder server just disappear? Our engineer noticed this today after the machines have been turned off for a few days. Using some of the tools on the system he was able to get the drive to come back but it's pushing us to format the drive and will not allow us to access any data on the drive. Any one know if we format the drive will this mess up any clip database for the other Xpression systems?

More detail would be required to properly comment. But assuming you have a typical system - then no, formatting the Incoder hard drive should not effect the ClipStore databases on the XPression Output Engines.

But if if your INcoder has a 'Master ClipStore' installed on it, and is synchronizing to your XPression Output Engines, then its likely that formatting the INcoder drive could affect the ClipStore synchronization workflow you might have configured.
