Hello Les and Nate!
I've managed to find a workaround to make it possible. I was inspired by something that David Goedhart wrote on a different discussion.
Here are the steps, in case that anyone will ever be interested
Step 1: As Les advised me, I've added a RossTalk port in Caprica, with the IP of Carbonite and set up as Server (instead of the default value as Client).
Step 2: In Caprica I've created two simple Custom Controls: one AFV Off and the other one AFV On.
Step 3: In Carbonite, in Configuration/Devices I've setup two RossTalk devices, using the Generic driver, with the IP of Caprica, Roll Clip set to on and Roll Cmd action set to the two CCs above each (one device is targeting the "AFV Off" CC, the other one the "AFV On" CC). Also I've set up Pre-Roll to 1 frame.
N.B. - the two boxes where the user is supposed to input the bank and custom control numbers are limited to a max value of 8 and 32 respectively - this should be addressed to be at least 48/48, so you can assign any CC from Caprica or any other external device
Step 4: In Carbonite Configuration/Inputs, I assigned those two devices to various inputs, by needs. Eg. cameras are set to AFV On, video servers or external inputs are set to AFV Off etc. This way I make sure, for instance, that the anchor mic is always on, if I manually use full screen images rather than going through Overdrive
Step 5: I've enabled Roll Clip on TouchDrive. It works both with transitions and cutting directly on PGM Bus
It also would be nice if we could be able to rename the custom devices instead of using the "generic_1.0 S0" or "generic_1.0 S1" names
Thank you

Subject: Is there a way to make the audio mixer ignore a key press on the Carbonite switcher?
Hello Les and Nate! Thanks for the answer. I will try playing with those CCs.
Also, Nate, I know this is a switcher thread, not a Caprica one, but I have another question, if you are kind to answer. In Input setup in Caprica, there is a field "OnAir CC". I've added a simple CC to be triggered whenever the source is on air, but it doesn't work. I tried both cutting directly on switcher and running them through Overdrive. How is this supposed to function?
Thank you

Hi Sorin. Try making a Caprica Custom Control to Disable AFV (Audio Mixer>Disable AFV) and then select the source. You could make CCs that Disable AFV and cut to each source. Once you advance your OverDrive playlist, the settings would switch back to however the shot was coded.

Hello!
I have enabled Caprica to control a mic and 4 video servers on a Calrec audio mixer. If I switch only between them, the faders go up and down as intended. So far so good. But if I press any other source on the video switcher, the audio mixer will cut off the faders, obviously.
I can make it work if I run everything through Overdrive, but sometimes we need to cut directly on the switcher. So is there a way to make the audio mixer to ignore certain keys presses to keep the previous audio source up? I tried to pass the sources through AUX buses, but the mixer still cuts off the audio
We have a Carbonite Ultra switcher, version 6.6.7.8260
Thank you
