  • 1.  Is there an OverDrive Clean Switch (Substitution)?

    We are using a Carbonite Ultra with Caprica, Ultrix and Overdrive.

    Just wondering if there is a way to do a simultaneous switch that follows my Program feed say with a miniME that will allow me to take everything except one source like a Video server (tape machine)? We have a segment where we need to switch a feed without video going to it as we do not have rights to post the video online. Basically switch two feeds at the same time avoiding one Video server.

    We have made a crazy work around using the tape machine as a key but wondering if there would be an easier way to do this?

    you can put the PGM ME BKGD as the source on the MiniME BKGD so that it will Follow it..  Then in the input menu build a bus substitution table for it.. and set up the substitution for the source...

    Note that you can't really make a full Follow with a MiniME from and ME so only can do the bus follows... you would have to figure out how to use the 2 keyers to mimic keyers that are on your PGM ME that you want to keep in it
