I use XPression Studio SCE 10.5 and export our graphics to ProRes 4444 when needing to use in an NLE. For some reason, the alpha channel doesn't work well with Sonoma. It's basically completely ignored. I first brought this up on the BMD forum because I thought it was a problem with Resolve, but it also happens in FCPX and Compressor.

This is only a problem on Sonoma. Ventura and older, plus Windows, have no issues.

I'm using FFMPEG v6.1.1 with XPression.

Re-encoding the files on Windows through Adobe Media Encoder fixes the issue, so it doesn't seem like it's necessarily a problem with the decoder on Sonoma. But that's an extra step I shouldn't have to do.

Anyone else having this issue? Is it a problem with the interface between XPression and FFMPEG, or is it actually a macOS problem?
