I understand there are two ways to apply DataLina values to the objects in the scene, on the Layout or on the Sequence.

Now I create same looks with either way, on the Layout and on the Sequence, and found significant difference on the times to be "online" after double-clicking on the Sequence, as follows;

Setting Datalinq values on the Layout : it takes 2-3 seconds to be online.

Setting Datalinq values on the Sequence : less than 1 second to be on line.

Is this a know issue?. Still I would like to set Datalinq values on the Layout because I want to duplicate the scene to generate different versions which inherits the Datalinq datasets I created once. This would be reasonable than set Datalinq on the Sequence.

I'm creating a scene which shows scores, players names/positions/numbers, game clock, Home and Away teams' names. This is for Soccer games.

That's interesting Takuya... Would you mind uploading either the scene you're building/project, or screenshots of the scene?

I wouldn't think it would take that long to come online unless there's a significant amount of data pulling happening, or there's fields that are waiting on other fields.

After I faced this issue, have been checking this community and found some issues caused by Windows ACE driver which I'm using for the Datalinq between XPression and Excel. I'm not sure still but this problem might not be happened on Dashboard users who use Rosstalk.......

I'm now trying to reduce the data size in the scene. Actually I used many "Slab" objects in the scene before and changed them to simple "Quad" objects,, found the performance has been getting better. Sorry, I forgot to take a screenshot..
