Just a thought...
In the meantime write a script that you can put on a thumb drive. It can harvest or install keyboard layouts. Saves them on the thumb drive in a folder relative to the script.
It's a quick fix, but should be compatible with all systems that use a .kbd file. Not compatible between different versions, just same versions.

Subject: Keyboard Mapping - export as a file?
We are planning to add a feature to export keyboard maps in the future, maybe in the next release or three.
We also want to make keyboard maps publish/deploy from project server in the future.

Sorry for the late reply Jeff - many thanks for your advice. It works perfectly.
Cheers

XPression saves a .kbd file for each custom Keyboard Mapping in the application.
In versions 10.5 and older, all saved Keyboard Maps can be found at C:\Program Files\XPressionStudio (or whichever edition of XPression you were using, i.e., ...\XPressionStudioFlex, ...\XPressionStudioSCE, etc.) In versions 11.0 and moving forward, they can be found at C:\ProgramData\Ross Video\XPression\XPressionStudio.
Just copy your .kbd file from that location, and paste it into the correct location on the different XPression. It will show up in the Current Keyboard Map list next time you open the Keyboard / GPI Mapping window.
One thing to keep in mind...if you're bringing a custom keyboard map from a newer version of XPression to an older one, some shortcuts may not work if those features weren't yet available in the older version of XPression.

Keyboard Mapping
Is there a way I can export my personalised Keyboard Mapping set up as a file so I can load onto another Xpression to save having to set up my keyboard preferences each time I use a different Xpression?
All the best
