  • 1.  Keying differences between Media-Stores on Carbonite Black Solo

    Posted 03-22-2023 11:11

I discovered a difference between the quality of the key from Media-store 1 and Media-store 2 on my Carbonate Black Solo in my live streaming case.

I'm using the same keyer, the same key type and parameters for both keys, just switching between M1 and M2 as the key source for the fill and alpha, see the pics below. It looks to me that M1 is not recognizing the alpha channel and is keying based on luminance while M2 is using the alpha, is this normal or is this a glitch/bug in my system.

Thanks for any help solving this little mystery...
    Steve

Can you put All 4 Channels of the Media stores into Boxes in the MV and share a picture so we can see what all channels look like?

Media 3 is Blank ...  Nothing in it ..  Make sure you have not turned that into a Frame Sync via the REF Menu in Configuration.

Thanks Les that was it!  We had a large production late last year and for graphics we were using Pro Presenter on a separate machine that needed reference.  We did not realize we had never switched it back...

    Thanks again!
