    Hi all,

Early heads up I'm very much a newb to Dashboard.

I've seen some legacy posts about integrating lighting desks into Ross Dashboard:

Lighting System Control | Facility Control

DMX control of lighting | Production Workflow

I'd like to pick these conversations up with regards to our setup that we've recently taken over.

We currently have an Avolites Titan Quartz which we traditionally use, when the build was commissioned (prior to us taking over the contract) someone has made a branded Lighting Control in Dashboard. It doesn't really work and causes DMX lighting conflicts with our system.

It brings up individual lights and hasn't really been programmed correctly.

There is also a legacy Pharos machine which was never integrated correctly.

We have requested a Mac with QLAB on it for playing out videos with locked Timecode for synched lighting timelines as we've been told these can't be triggered via Tessera the way we wish to.

We are open to using it for this as per the threads above but seeing as there must be some pathway that exists it would be great to investigate this first.

Can anyone guide me on how to extract this page and see how it has been set up?

Obviously this can get a bit involved and is a bit difficult to unwrap without digging into the code, and I'm also not familiar with that lighting platform, but they are likely sending OSC (open sound control) commands to your lighting board. Tessera absolutely can do this as well as OSC commands are quite similar to Rosstalk. It would be a Rosstalk Event in the Scene Director.

You should be able to extract the .grid file from the Ultritouch by connecting to the Ultritouch as a Dashboard device, and you might be able to reverse-engineer a bit on what they did. Likely they are recalling presets that were set up in the lighting board.
