  • 1.  Load Clip on Tria via Custom Control on Vision Switcher

    Posted 08-30-2023 14:54

We recently purchased a Tria Express Duet and I was able to connect to it from our Vision switcher over ethernet via VDCP. I got it configured with the "Roll Clip" button and I am able to control the playback of clips that have been manually loaded into Channels A & B on the Tria. The "Rewind", "Pause", "Play", and "Fast Forward" on the Vision "Remote Controls" screen work fine.

I would like to be able to load a specific clip into a channel on the Tria via a Custom Control but when I try I receive the following error message:

    "Server reported cue failure

    Clip:"

One thing I noticed is that whatever is in the "Clip Name" field on Tria shows up on "Active ID" on the Vision and whatever is in "Clip ID' on Tria doesn't show up on the Vision.

When I select the "Device" in the Vision Com settings should I use "Abekas Mira" or "Generic"? I'm currently using "Abekas Mira".

The first picture shows the "Remote Control" screen on the Vision when a clip is loaded.

The second picture shows the error message I receive when I try to load a specific clip using a Custom Control. I've tried assigning a clip ID such as "010" to a clip on Tria and then inserting a Load Clip command in the Custom Control and in the Clip ID settings I selected "010".

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks,

you can follow the instructions that are posted for acuity in the web manuals..

In the Tria configuration for the LENGHT of clip make sure you set that to the maximum number it will go..  and if you are having trouble pulling the clip list then I would also contact tech support for help.
