  • 1.  Loading Projects in XPression Designer

    We have a 3 channel XPression studio in our truck and XPression Designer in our studio with our with our Carbonite Solo All-In-One.  we tried to load one of our truck projects in the XPression Designer and it didn't work.  Didn't give us any specific errors other than a fail message.  Is possible to import from our 3 channel machine to Designer?  If it is possible, is there anything we should be looking at on the truck projcet that might cause issues in the studio?  Thanks.

    Do they match version numbers, i.e 10.5.xxxx ?

    I will have to fire up the unit in the truck to double check. I'm guessing from your question is differing versions could be stumbling block #1?

    most likely causes yeah, if studio is newer than the designer.

    Also quite common for issues like this to be caused by trying to load project files directly from USB - ideally they should be copied to local disk. 
    Also make sure you are exporting from Studio correctly. Either by exporting as an XPP or creating a Zip archive of the project directory.
