  • 1.  Losing Xpression reference

    Posted 04-16-2025 11:54

I have a DashBoard panel that references our Xpression Studio that suddenly lost the reference to Xpression.

I can re-add the Xpression, but only get the API.

The panel was getting the name of the loaded project and the API alone doesn't work.

This did happen after a Windows update on Xpression Studio.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks,

    James.

    Hi James,
Thanks for the information. Dashboard development team is currently working on the Expressions to fix some of the reported issues. We will add this to our test cases.

    Hey Garner!

    Windows 10 Pro 22H2

The update was from last Tuesday's patch Tuesday.

    OS build 19045.5737

    Feature pack 1000.19061.1000.0

I really appreciate you looking at this.

    Thanks,

    James.

I read something about new connections using RossTalkEx and that existing panels might still be using standard RossTalk until the panel was modified---could this be what I am seeing?

    Thanks,

    James.
