In Carbonite Ultra when a reference is detected or we lose lock we print:
Sep 2 14:50:32 Falcon user.err syslog: C: 635 S: ERROR T: FM0 p:1478071488 "NO ERROR: Lost lock, or detected Reference, restarting lock sequence" at common/vidmode_driver_LMH1983.cpp:1189.
Next we print the vid mode and reference type:
Sep 2 14:50:32 Falcon user.err syslog: C: 636 S: ERROR T: FM0 p:1478071488 "NO ERROR: Video mode start. VidMode e_VidMode_2160p_59_94, Ref e_VidMode_Unknown, External" at common/vidmode_driver_LMH1983.cpp:702.
In this case it doesn't recognize the reference (because I have no equipment at my home to generate a reference so I am looping the Ultra reference out and back into itself and it doesn't like this).

Subject: Loss of Sync in logs
I'd like to use the Carbonite Ultra logs to confirm loss of external sync issues (long story unrelated to the Carbonite).
I can pull and open the logs. I assume I look in "messages" going to the time stamp when the issue may have occurred. What would the log say if the Carbonite took a sync hit?
To be clear, the Carbonite is performing fine. I just want to use the logs as a diagnostic tool.
Thanks for the help.
