I'm creating a template in XPression that allows me to make spotlights on an image (i.e. most of the image dims outside of a handful of spotlights, to highlight connections between people etc for broadcasts). I have everything set up more or less the way I want it, except I'm having an issue with the lighting mode on the image.
I noticed when a material is created it defaults to per-vertex lighting, which looks blocky and strange on the image, so I flipped the mode to per-pixel and everything looks great on my default image when I pull the template into the sequencer. However, I published the material for the image, and when I assign a new image from the sequencer the material lighting mode reverts to per-vertex.
I dug through the XPression API to see if there's a way to force the mode via scripting but couldn't find anything, so reaching out here in case anyone knows of a way to force per-pixel lighting whether it's through scripting or just an option I may have missed on the original material setup. Thanks for any help/insight!
