    Is there any way to have the materials be in alphabetic order in this window and have any materials that are numbered be in numeric order?

    I would recommend submitting this as a Ross idea. There is zero consistency in the interface.

    When assigning to an object, it looks like they are displayed in the order created. In the materials window, they are grouped and alphabetical in the group; group order can be changed. In Visual Logic they are alphabetical. (I'm on 9.5, so this might be changed in later versions?)

    Again, submit it as a Ross idea. I'd like a choice to choose the sorting in my opinion.
