Hi,

We are working on the Carbonite Ultra Switcher using TouchDrive Panel 3.

Media Manager not working. I have a png sequence about 62 frames and it doesn't load up. I see it in the media 1 but it doesn't load-none of my stills or anything.

What am I missing?

Can you post a screen shot of what it looks like in Media Manager?

Also could you maybe put it in a dropbox or other means like onedrive / google drive and post a link so that we can look at the file and see why?

I hope you had a nice holiday! It's a Christmas miracle-after two days of nothing loading or playing, I came in this morning and had to restart the Touchdrive panel, and now the Media Manager is working again. The still images load up and play without issue. I've provided the link and screenshots so you can see what was happening. However, I still encounter one problem: the background doesn't play when I call it up. When I bring up my 2-box, the background fails to play. I make sure to hit autoplay and looping, and I save it to Memory Bank 1, Memory 1, just like I always do. I've also set up a custom control to recall Bank 1, Memory 1, and I save that as well. But when I leave the 2-box and come back, the background still doesn't play. It seems like my settings for looping and autoplay aren't being saved, and I have to start it manually. Am I saving it incorrectly?

The BKGD animation you placed in the folder has the first frame starting at _00173 ...  Not at _0000

I am not sure -- maybe that caused a weird issue for it -- make sure that in the Media Manager on the Left it says Database when you are setting the parameters for loop and autoplay.  Those are stored with the database file and on every load will use those settings.  If you select the channel when it is loaded and then click on the properties -- that is an instance only of using those.  Then next time it loads to the channel it will recall the database properties.  So very possible you were setting the Channel Instance Props and thus when the memory recalls the ID to the Channel it will reset to the Database defaults.

the other file you included was an XPression AVI and not the image sequence that you show in the screen captures.

That Xpression Avi was another video that was not loading as well. I just put it there if you wanted to see the file. The BKGD animation i'll check the frame starting point, but its working now. 

I'll check on the media manager to see if it says database. i'll let you know.

I'm still having issues with saving the moving background. The database is showing up, and I've included screenshots. I save it to Bank 1, Memory 1, but when I select Memory 1, it stops playing, even though I saved it while it was playing. I'm completely confused about the correct order to save. I was able to do this successfully before without any issues. Additionally, when I have my two boxes up and I BRING up the left box full, the background glitches and starts over again. Like i said...i've done this before with no issues saving the background, and switching from different boxes with the same background and no glitches or anything. the file im using is in the dropbox link.

What Version are you running (DashBoard Status Menu?)

Recalling the memory with the Media item loaded is going to restart it most likely ..

Might need to not set the Attribute to recall it if your using multiple memories to switch back and forth..  I am sure we can look into it if you continue to have issues -- we will need though to get a ticket opened so that they can collect all the files and Logs and track it to send to the dev team.

dashboard software version is 9.10.1 2024-05-31

carbonite software version 3.1.0 build 535

I can't save it to memory at all. i recall a memory and it doesn't even play even thou i saved it with looping and play pressed.

How can i open a ticket for someone to help me?
