Its Memory that is soldered on the board.. it's not possible to change that.
We have TriaUHD and XPression Clip players that would effectively provide unlimited instant access Cue/Play Video/Alpha/Audio with integrated control. These can be easily integrated with the Ultrix Acuity Switchers.

Thank you for the update ... had a look and was able to get it working. But 32 Gb is great for 720 and 1080 but as per the pic i enclosed a 40 frame UHD animation is 1.4 gb. And with only 3.7 gb usable thats only 120 frames per "4gb"The grass and sony offer 64gb and 128 gb caches ... surely this is something to look at?
Kind regards
Rory

Each ME has 8 GB of Cache for the 4 Channels. 1/3 have 4GB and 2/4 have 4GB
That is per ME and you can access any media store on any ME or Output.
Anything that is in the that local cache will instantly load you don't need to Eject something to load something just load it.. If not in cache it will load to cache and remove items that are not in channels to make space. If something is in a channel it will never be auto ejected.
There is no expanding the Cache it's physical hardware. Your total cache spread across all 4 MEs is 32 GB over 16 channels.
Beyond that an attached XPression or Tria Server would be how to have Extended Clip and Media.

Okay will give that a try. We are working with 4k File sizes. Is there an option to increase the cache size?

Hi Rory,
A media cannot be loaded into a channel directly from the cache. However, if the media is already in the cache, it can be loaded into a channel of the same cache via Custom Control. For example, if a media is in Cache 1, a Custom Control can be programmed to load it into either Channel 1 or 3.

Hi
I have an Acuity Ultrix with 4 Me's. This gives me 16 Media Store outputs. I have 18 Transtition Animations and two Stills (Watermark and DVE Box Background)
I am able to eject a clip from a channel, with the clip remaining in the cache. Is there a way to load the clip into a channel directly from the cache?
Kind regards
