Video Servers & Replay Systems​

We had an issue with one of our Mira boxes so we swapped it out with another machine from another studio. I made the new box identical to the box we are replacing and tested it, with it working fine. We shut down the machine and made the swap and when we rebooted it, the video channels would not show up. We tried a dozen restarts and video/key combinations from the config, but nothing restores the channels. 
we retained ANOTHER Mira box from a different control room and moved it over to our space, booted it up and mapped the ip and some drives and we saw the channels. But when we did a reboot after making our changes, the video channels disappeared from Mira again. Multiple reboots will not restore them. 
anyone had this issue? It looks like a glitch more than anything but after it happening to 2 boxes, I'm at a loss. Any thoughts on this? We are on version 7.1.14

We got this issue resolved through tech support. But I will leave the discussion up here for people with future related issues. 
If you rename the computer name on a Mira box, you need to unassign all channels in the General Configuration in Mira explorer, then reassign them with the new computer name and reassign your channels.
