    Hi

Our production team was in a hurry and forgot to stop the multicam recording of an event on the weekend.  I'd like to keep this event and the content file with the 4 camera iso record.  Is there a way to edit the content file for the duration of the event and delete the extra footage?  I hope you can point me in the right direction.

    cheers

    Hi Greg,

Unfortunately there is no easy way to do that.

The only way to keep the content without losing any Clip Register clipping and Playlists you have created is to record the ISO4 from the SDI OUTs of one machine into another (or into another set of 4CH SDI INs of the same machine, if there's enough channels), and you will need do this into a NEW (and temporary) ISO4 Replay Event. Assuming you used External Timecode, the timecode will also need to match in the new replay event.

Then, you will copy the sqlite database file from the original (too long) Replay Event and overwrite the sqlite database file in the new Replay Event folder.

    I hope that help!

    Thanks!

    Hi Isabelle

Thanks for this.  Oh well.  We'll aim to remember to stop our records from now on!

    Thanks for the reply
