Well you will need to setup a device and point it to the correct IP address of the Tria. usually we do one "port" per channel and you can use the IP only panel ports that start after the 8 serial ports. Setup a VDCP device like you did for the Blackstorm and use the Mira target device.
On the Vision Side you have Device Ports setup for each channel .. The Tria has Channel one(A) coms expecting Port 8000, channel 2 (B) port 8001, CH3 (C) port 8002 etc..
On the Tria Side the configuration steps are found here
http://help.rossvideo.com/tria/Tasks/Setup/Server/RS422-VDCP.htmlAs you have to enable the VDCP for the channels and also make sure you select the Ethernet not Serial radial button.. also make sure you crank up that max clip name length :)

Thank Les. We got the Tria machine, the Tria Explorer/Importer/etc. up and running. It all seems to be working properly. We are recreating our playlists now. What do we need to change in the Vision switcher so that it will now see the Tria? When I go to Assign Clips it does not find it. I think it is still looking for the Blackstorm, bc when I press Choose Clip/Refresh Clips it gets stuck "Loading 0 of 0" and VTR times out.

Hi Roger,
Tria supports Playlists in a similar manner as you have used before! So you will be able to build and edit playlists on the Tria which the Switcher will be able to callup from the custom controls just like it was doing with the Blackstorm.
You will need to use the Tria Client to Manage the Playlists these can not be edited in the dashboard plugin. An alternative to the direct on Tria UI is to install the Network Tria Client (looks like Tria Explorer) but won't have video thumbnails.
