Hi,

I just tested an NDI Output Framebuffer these days, just "playtime"...

It works fine except when I clear the Framebuffer with Ctrl+F1...F2... (clear all Layers on FB), in most cases I get a "dirty" bit of a frame left on the output (fill and/or key) when I monitor the NDI Stream. Soetimes it would clear to clean Fill+Key fine (very rare) most times it just flickers one black frame and then leaves the last frame of the prior content on screen, sometimes it would leave a glitched half area of the key-content there and so forth. In either case the output is NOT cleared properly.

BUT: it always works, when I replace the prior content with an empty scene. But this is not an option as this would only clear one specific layer on the output, not all. Plus I am used to clear framebuffers by the default keyboard shortcut instead of putting an empty scene online...

Can anybody help me with this issue?

It all happens on the same machine, so a poor network connection is likely not the cause!

Can anyone at least confirm that or even provide a solution?

This is a known bug in XPression version 7.1. It is resolved in XPression version 8.7 build 4708 and higher (beta). The lowest released version with this bug resolved is XPression version 9.0. 

From XPression change log:

Just a for the sake of completeness:
I saw v7.1 ...
- with its NDI output working with fill+key (and optional fill only) but it does not deliver audio
- with its NDI input capable of processing fill but no key (and I assume no audio, not tested)

Please correct me if I am wrong...

Nevertheless the clear framebuffer glitch persists, and that is what I wanted to find out!

That sounds correct. I think I had modified the list above to show released versions for the NDI featureset. But you are correct, NDI fill+key output was added in 7.1. Audio was added in v8.7 (or v9.0 release).
