  • 1.  Need Help - System-wide Video Stream alternates from clear to glitchy after power outage

    All video feeds in our Ross system alternate between 63 seconds of clarity and 57 seconds of glitching out. Everything worked great until we had a breaker trip overnight and our UPS drained, causing our Ultrix and sync and Barco systems to all shut down. When we restored power, the camera previews and all video streams began to have this issue. We have two Ross Ultrixes in two different event/broadcast spaces connected via fiber. When the power was down, and the other Ultrix was still on, we had no issues of glitchiness on the working system. Now that they are both on, we have this issue. We are hoping it's an easy fix. Looking for solutions, not opinions. Thanks!

    FIXED: Sync Generator was off of the network. We replaced the network cable and restarted the sync generator. It pulled an IP and all video is in sync. I hope this helps people in the future. Reset your sync by itself, not at the same time as other gear.
