  • 1.  New Excels Rows won't import into DataLinq

    Posted 3 hours ago

    Hey All,

Fairly new to using Xpression Studio/Datalinq so forgive me if this is an easy fix I'm totally overlooking. I'm on a college football show, and we have an Excel sheet with every team's primary and secondary colors that we import into DataLinq. I've been trying to add in a couple of new lines for new teams that we overlooked in our original file. When I import the file into DataLinq and configure it, all the new lines show up when I hit "Browse" in DataLinq, but when I go into the Template Data on Xpression Studio to try and select the new teams, those new lines don't pop up.

    Would love any input.

    Thanks,

    Mitchell Case

Going to guess here.  But I am guessing your data is "tabled" inside of excel that you are connecting to.  And if it is, and you have added lines of text, then excel is not smart enough to assume that you wanted to add it to a tabled area. - So you need to get into your table's properties, in excel, and make changes. - Usually getting to the name manager is enough.
