I have got a short question, starting the playlist in slowmotion,by entering the second clip the speed goes up to 100%. What is our mistake ?

Good day, Joern. I want to be sure we understand the question. Are the clips you're adding to the playlist not adhering to the Speed commands you set for each clip? Also let us know which product you're specifically working with and what software release is currently being used.
    Thanks.

    Hi Tedd

It is a new mira+ system with 12 channels with the new version 8.3.1.

No it is not the speed setting of each clip. We build a playlist ,go to the beginning of the list and let them start by the t-bar with 50% speed. the first clip ist running with 50% speed, the second clips speeds up to 100%. It isn't good for a replay at boxing or so.

Good day, Joern. I checked with our Server development team and also forwarded your message to our U.K.-based Business Development Manager, Raphael Samad. Both he and the dev. team provided the same answer:

As you discovered, the T-bar speed setting only applies to the first clip in the playlist. When the next clip rolls, it will be at 100%. However, so long as the T-bar isn't moved, the operator can press the Var Play button located next to the T-bar as soon as the clip rolls and it will immediately slow to the speed that was originally set by the T-bar. Of course, there will be a very sight, but perhaps noticeable change as each clip rolls at 100% and then drops to the T-bar setting.
Assuming there's time, another option would be to manually set the play speed of each clip in the playlist using the SPEED parameter. Then, each clip would roll out at its preset speed. I realize this may not be feasible in a live sporting event, however. Also note that if new clips are added to the Playlist, they will default to 100%. But the advantage of that technique is that the speed of each clip can be set directly and would be saved with the playlist.

Our dev team is aware that users would like to have more immediate and dynamic control of playlist play speeds and so is looking into how we can implement that feature in future software releases.

    Hi Tedd

Thanks for the fast information.  I think we have to learn a new workflow, meanwhile, but there are many cool feature in the on our new server.

    Best regards Joern
