Hello.

We have a Carbonite Ultra 24 ver.9.1.0 with Caprica ver. 8.3 and Overdrive ver. 21.3.

I'm trying to build a custom transition in Overdrive to associate it with a template.  I've build a custom control in Caprica with the right amount of time for time out and map this in a Overdrive custom transition.

When assigning it to a template and taking it on air, the transition starts, but take and prepare is not working, and we have an error message for timed out.

Hi Nick,

In Caprica, if you want a custom control to run as a transition instead of an event, just use ME Autotrans or ME Cut instead of Take and Prepare. The switcher sends the transition info back to OverDrive which advances the rundown. While Take and Prepare work for custom controls, if you're using the transition area, you'll need to use an ME transition on the switcher.
